Happy Spring! Even though it doesn’t feel like Spring has arrived on the east coast, I can still feel the shift of the seasons. Last week, my mom showed me how her plants are sprouting! So despite the current weather, we need to focus on the potential of what is to come. In the garden of your life, is our soil fertile enough for what needs to bloom in this season? Spring cleaning shouldn’t solely focus on detoxing the spaces we live in. We should make time to reevaluate the internal as well. What habits or things are we holding onto that are preventing different areas of our lives from developing? Are our habits and obligations giving life to good things? Spring is a time for renewal.
Let us be mindful of what is slowing down our minds, bodies, and souls.
I challenge you this week to take some time to evaluate what areas of life need a renewal. We only have one life on this Earth and we do not have time to waste it on distractions and mindlessness.
What is beautiful about God is that he shows us that everything has a rhythm. Each season requires something different. One thing that is always constant is God’s love. His guidance for what this season will require is what brings me hope that renewal is always available to anyone and everyone. This is the reminder of Spring.
The Best is Yet to Come,
Eleny
