Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.
Two weeks ago, I participated in a missions trip to Ohio. It was an amazing experience. The best part was serving in the migrant farmlands. We set up a VBS for two days in that location. These people really didn’t have much to call their own. But they welcomed us with open arms. The children were the most joyful group kids I had ever met. None of them knew who Jesus was, but they trusted that He loved them. Many of them impacted our youth groups life and faith. That is exactly why Jesus wants us to be like children.
