Someone also tried to break in my house while a babysitter was taking care of us when I was younger. The man knew the women taking care of us and was threatening to kill us. I had to call 911; mind you I was about 6 or 7. As a teenager, I slept next to my mom. I couldn’t be alone. I’m still working on that fear till this day.
I’m still struggling with my fears and feelings of giving up but God is working with me to get through it. Jesus says “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27).
In John 16:33 Jesus says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Ask God to give you His peace in this situation. It’s the best thing you will experience. Talk to Him about everything and don’t hold back. That’s what he desires of you.
I will be praying for you! God loves you so much and will help you with whatever you are going through. Times may seem difficult now, but painful situations are the best times to get closer to God. We get to see more of Him. When you overcome your situation with Christ, you won’t be who you were before. You’ll be more than a conqueror! “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37
